FAQs
Do you accept insurance?
Beacon Chiropractic & Performance has made the decision to work directly for you and therefore does not participate with your health insurance. What this allows us to do is spend more time together to better understand your needs and tailor a care-plan that is unique to you. That type of service is uncommon in most Chiropractic clinics, where appointment times usually last between 10-15 minutes.
Being able to have more time and having a unique plan that addresses you, often means that you will not need the high volume of visits, which is also a common occurrence in most Chiropractic clinics.
With this in mind, we understand that many insurance providers do cover Chiropractic care, therefore, we will be more than happy to provide you with a “super-bill” (itemized receipt) for you to submit to your insurance company to get reimbursed. You are also able to use your FSA or HSA towards appointments if you currently have them.
***Please be advised that we are UNABLE to accept Medicare patients***
Do I need a referral for Chiropractic care?
Nope! Because we are working directly with you, a referral for Chiropractic care is not needed.
***If you choose to seek reimbursement for out-of-network care, you may want to contact your health insurance provider to check on those benefits prior to scheduling your initial appointment.
How do I check my out-of-network benefits?
Call the member services number located on the back of your insurance card.
Ask the representative for your chiropractic care benefits.
It is important the representative knows that you are seeking information on out-of-network benefits.
Ask about your out-of-network reimbursement rate?
Ask about if there is an appointment/dollar limit for out-of-network care for the year?
Ask if your insurance provider requires a “super-bill”/receipt/other form to be submitted for reimbursement?
Ask how to file a claim for reimbursement (online, mailing address, etc…)
“I’m not an ‘athlete’, will you still see me?”
Absolutely! Everyone has something that they want to get back to and I believe that the quality of care that high level athletes receive is the same level of care that you deserve too. Just because you may not step onto a field or a court does not mean that you are not an athlete. Picking up kids, gardening, carrying a laundry basket…all athletic activities that can benefit from a unique treatment plan and dedicated attention from a rehab professional.
